Another of our returning favorites inspired by the world of cocktails, Old Fashioned is a blend of strong ales selected to capture the essence of the classic cocktail of the same name. After tasting through the racks of bourbon and whiskey barrels in our cellar, we settled on a blend of strong ales aged roughly 50/50 in Westward Whiskey and George Dickel 16 year bourbon barrels.

Rich caramel, vanilla, and bourbon flavors are accented by a citrus garnish of fresh orange peel just before bottling, creating the orange essence you’d expect with your Old Fashioned cocktail. If you’re so inclined, we wouldn’t judge you for serving this beer in a lowball glass and enjoying it with a Montecristo Robusto.
