Farmhouse Fusion represents a very Alesong take on New England’s favorite beer style. Tropical, hop-forward, and hazy, this saison was primarily fermented with Brettanomyces and blends mature barrels from our cellar with younger beer brewed with a heavy dose of Mosaic hop extract. A generous dry-hop on the final blend with Strata and Nelson Sauvin results in juicy, tropical flavors that you might find in a Northeast IPA. Those flavors are a perfect complement to the complex yeast profile that developed through oak aging and the Brett fermentation in the more mature barrels included in the blend.
