LINE COOK / DISHWASHER / BOH TEAM MEMBER

Alesong Brewing and Blending is a boutique, artisan brewery, winery, and cidery specializing in barrel-aged beers and located in a scenic wine country location roughly 20 miles Southwest of Eugene with additional production and office facilities in West Eugene.  Founded in 2015, we have been fortunate enough to receive a number of awards and recognitions including medals at the Great American Beer Festival, the Best of Craft Beer Awards, and the Oregon Beer Awards. We were named brewery of the year at the 2021 Oregon Beer Awards and at 2024 GABF.

Currently managed and staffed by a small team, we are seeking to hire a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our back of house tasting room staff at our country brewery.  We offer a limited, but thoughtful menu that complements our beverage offerings and emphasizes local, high-quality, ingredients.  This person will be responsible for prep work, cooking dishes to order, washing dishes and other support tasks in our small, team-first, work environment.

Responsibilities:

·       Efficiently assist with all kitchen operations including opening prep, cooking, expediting, service, cleaning and closing duties

·       Wash and sanitize dishes and keep the kitchen stocked for service

·       Run hot food to customers, bus tables and help maintain a clean and pleasant patio

·       Provide consistent, high-quality menu items to guests in a timely manner

·       Assist with ordering and inventory management

·       Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and dish station, adhering to proper food safety protocols at all times

·       Assist with kitchen maintenance and upkeep

Required qualifications

·       6 months experience in a professional kitchen

·       Professional, warm, and welcoming personal presentation

·       Self-motivated and able to act independently

·       Keen eye for detail

·       Strong communication and inter-personal skills

·       Team player enthusiastic about working together to grow a small company

·       Must be available on weekends

·       Food Handler’s and Safe Serv certifications

Schedule: Part-time, Saturday / Sunday position available. Shifts are afternoon & early evening with opportunities for additional hours for special events. 

Compensation: $18-$20/hr DOE (plus $4-$8/hr estimated tip pool share), $100 monthly tasting room credit & beer benefits at releases
